A design overview of oral-b’s iO Series 10
As its predecessor, the Oral-B iO Series 10 features a slender and sleek shape, an angular brush head, a clean-finished handle, as well as an LED display that’s topped and tailed with two concave rubber buttons.
The dock features a metallic finish and an indentation that allows it to be magnetically held in place on the charging dock as well as an LCD display with LEDs that show the time, date, and feedback while brushing.
It includes enough space to hold the toothbrush and one brush head. There is a separate case that can hold two more brush heads in case they are needed. There is also a charging cable for the dock that works with the travel case.
In addition to being free from grip, the brush is not slippery, although the body is devoid of grip material. This unit’s eye-catching design with flecks of paint is actually technically useful, as the paint catches the eye on the body, providing a level of grip that is perfect for brushing, regardless of how wet it gets.
You can change the color of the color-changing LED light ring, which is located at the top of the brush before the brush head. The standard color can also be changed to match your personal preference.

A brief overview of the features of the Oral-B iO Series 10
Oral-B’s iO Series 10 has a lot to offer. Its brushing functionality is obviously the most important, since it uses the oscillating small brush head as usual, as well as microvibrations, which further clean the teeth. In that way, oscillating and sonic brushing are almost crossing paths.
This Oral-B iO Series 10 brush comes with an app that tracks your brushing as well as shows you live feedback as you brush. With six zones of sensitivity on the brush, you will be able to see a screen-based animatic of your teeth sparkling white as you brush them. Once the animatic of your teeth sparkles white, you can move on to the next zone.

In addition to being fun, the Oral-B iO Series 10 toothbrush has a light ring that can be personalized. In addition to turning red if you press too hard, it will turn white if you lean too lightly. When you brush correctly, you’re shown a solid green light reassuringly. Unlike Philips Sonicare brushes, this will not vibrate, but it will alert you when the dock is occupied.
You can switch between the seven brushing modes on the brush itself or on the app, depending on mouth type and teeth needs. These are Daily Clean, Sensitive, Super Sensitive, Intense+, Whiten, Gum Care, and Tongue Clean.
Docks also have LED lights on their tops that change colors, like brushes, so you can be aware that you’re pressing too hard and can be connected to WiFi to display time and date. The Series 10 features this new feature which is useful for brushing as it allows you to receive live feedback without your smartphone being with you. A dock light ring can be customized to display coverage or zone timings depending on the needs of the user via the app.
Smart AI
Smart learning AI is another very powerful feature that protects your teeth and gums in real-time by adapting to your brushing style. Whenever you brush harder or for longer periods than needed, the brush intelligently adjusts, slowing the number of oscillations, so you don’t overbrush and potentially damage your teeth.
This feature helps save time and effort by restarting the brush in the same mode that you finished in – a subtle but very useful feature.
Battery life is also never a concern when you use quick charging, which provides full power in just three hours.
An overview of the performance of the Oral-B iO Series 10
Its super-impressive cleaning allows you to feel the smoothness and freshness of your teeth after brushing with your tongue after a good brush. In addition to doing this, it is a lot quieter than ever. If you’re brushing early or late, near a bedroom with someone sleeping, the quieter running is really welcome.

Both the Oral-B iO Series 10 toothbrush and the dock have an on-screen timer that helps you keep track of your progress. The 2-minute total timer with vibrating alerts for every 30 or 20 seconds is also available to help you switch between zones. When you combine that with LED pressure light alerts, you’ll get an outstanding brush even with the most basic settings.
In real time, the app showed how clean each zone of your mouth is using the zone sensitivity. While the novelty wears off pretty fast, the ability to monitor this using the dock is a really useful feature that takes into account more realistic use of the brush without the app.
A very fast charge takes only three hours to reach full with that dock, which locks the brush in place very easily. It’s also far cleaner than older models with indents that get grubby very quickly. As a bonus, both the dock and charging travel case use the same power cord – something the Series 9 did not.
In spite of its water-resistant body, this toothbrush is not waterproof, so it is probably best to rinse when it becomes dirty under the tap only if necessary – and not while it is submerged. Submerged, however, it demonstrated no problems when tested.
Oral-B’s innovative iOTM technology combines micro-vibrating bristles with a dentist-inspired round brush head for a fresh, clean mouthfeel and healthier gums in one week.
Compared to the Genius Pro 8000, the iO is much better designed and more user-friendly from a design and technological standpoint. Despite the fact that both brushes clean teeth very well, the iO offers a better overall package, making it the best choice among these two brushes.30 Nov 2020
Oral-B Pro 1000 has all the important features at a reasonable price: a two-minute timer, quadrant pacing, and compatibility with a wide array of replacement brush heads. 15 Nov 2022 – It has a pressure sensor and a long-lasting battery.
On the iO8, there are six cleaning modes (daily clean, sensitive, super sensitive, intense, whiten & gum care), while on the iO9, there are seven (daily clean, sensitive, intense, whiten, gum care, tongue clean). The iO9 has full 3D tracking for your cleaning performance that the Series 8 doesn’t.24 Nov 2021
iO10 is Oral-B’s new flagship, while iO4 and iO5 are its cheaper options.
